WHY DO YOU NEED MY UDID?

WHY CHOOSE DRONE-TWEAKS?
Our solution has several advantages over the competition:
1. First and foremost, there are no changes done to the drone itself. This means no risk of affecting the drone's firmware or its flight controller, no risk of losing your Care Refresh insurance. 3rd party apps do not invalidate Care Refresh like modifying the drone's firmware does.
2. The app can be used with an unlimited number of drones. You don't need a license for each drone, you don't need to get a new license when you buy a new drone or when you get a replacement after a crash. You only need one license for all your drones.
3. There is no additional app to start before flying, no special procedure, no extra steps. You just use this modified app in the same exact way you used the normal app.
4. The iOS application comes already signed. This means you just tap to install and you're ready to go. No need to go through the process of paying for a signing certificate and then actually doing the signing yourself.
SO IS THIS A DIFFERENT APP?
This is a modified version of the official app. You will use it in exactly the same way you use the official app, you will login using the same DJI account, but your drone will always remain in FCC mode. Additionally, if you purchased the FCC & AirSense mod for the Mavic Air 2 and you have the correct model number (ending in 3W, not 1N), your AirSense (ADS-B) system will also be enabled.
CAN I USE MULTIPLE DRONES?
Yes. You can use as many drones as you want.
WHAT ABOUT UPDATES?
App updates are free for 12 months. Each update will be released a few days after the official DJI app is released on the AppStore, provided they don’t make some drastic changes that completely break this mod. See the "Updating" section in the A to Z page for a tutorial on how to update the app.
WILL RTH STILL WORK?
Yes, RTH (Return To Home) will work as normal. Our solutions are not based on faking the GPS, so none of the drone's functionalities are affected. RTH and all other features will function correctly.
CAN I USE MULTIPLE PHONES / TABLETS?
Yes and no. The license can only be active on a single device at a time. You are allowed to move the license to a new device once during your one-year license, for example when upgrading your phone. This can be done easily on Android by deleting the app from the old device and logging in on the new device. For iOS however, there is an extra step required. The app needs to be signed for your specific device on iOS to allow it to run, which means adding your device to our Apple developer account. If you want to move your license over to a new iPhone/iPad, you will need to either handle signing of the app yourself or to get the signing pack if you want us to do it for you. In both cases, you will continue using your existing license once the app has been signed for your new device. If you're running a jailbroken device, signing is not required.
CAN I UPGRADE TO FCC + AIRSENSE IF I ALREADY HAVE THE FCC MOD?
Yes. If you already purchased the FCC mod and you want to upgrade to the FCC + AirSense mod for the same iPhone or iPad, please contact us and we'll guide you through the upgrade process.

CAN I USE DIFFERENT DRONES?
Yes. For example, if you purchase the FCC Fly mod, you can use it with any drone that uses the Fly app (e.g. Mavic Mini, Mini 2, Air 2, FPV etc). Furthermore, if you get the FCC & AirSense mod you can use it with any drone that uses the Fly app. FCC will be active on all of them but AirSense will obviously only be active on Air 2 drones with the correct model number (ending in 3W, not 1N).

IS CARE REFRESH AFFECTED?
No, Care Refresh is not affected. Care Refresh covers user error damage and is not invalidated by using third party apps. As long as you can recover the drone, you can file a Care Refresh claim with no problems.
HOW DO I KNOW I'M IN FCC MODE?
Check the signal graph in the Transmission tab.

The 1km line should land at about 87dBm/MHz on the left scale. FCC mode is ~87, CE mode is ~91.

It is very important to wait for the drone to get GPS lock before checking this. Do not test it indoors!

The "1km" text should not be level to the 90db line, but it should be clearly higher than the line.

WiFi drones (Mavic Mini, Mini SE, Mavic Air, Spark etc):

There should be only 11 channels for the 2.4GHz band (the 2.4GHz channels are the ones below 100, the ones over 100 are the 5.8GHz channels). FCC mode has 11 channels for 2.4GHz, CE mode has 13 channels.

IS THERE A PLACE I CAN GET FEEDBACK ON THE FCC AND AIRSENSE MODS?
Yes. Our facebook group is a place where users of the mods share feedback and where we announce things of interest, such as updates.

DO THE MODS WORK WITH THE LATEST APP VERSIONS AND LATEST FIRMWARES?
Yes. The Fly app is up to date at v1.5.9 and the GO4 app is up to date at v4.3.46. All firmware versions for all DJI drones are compatible with our mods.
DO I GET A DISCOUNT IF I BUY MULTIPLE MODS OR FOR MULTIPLE DEVICES?
Yes. There are several combos available. Whether you want to get both the Fly and GO4 apps or you want to use both your iPhone and your iPad with FCC for Fly, FCC for GO4 or FCC + AirSense, we got you covered with our combo packages. We even have a combo package for getting Fly and GO4 for both your iPhone and your iPad. If you want a different combination that is not covered by an existing combo, contact us and we'll make you a custom offer.
